Fostering Saves Lives
Without fostering, there can be no rescue. Our foster homes and families are the backbone of our rescue efforts. Without good homes to go to, dogs in the shelter do not have the ability to decompress and recover. Foster homes allow us to get to know who the dog is, get them spayed/neutered, healthy and ready to find their forever home. Many of our fosters end up becoming adopters because they fall in love with the dog they have taken in and cared for.
Adopt a New Friend
The goal of every rescue is to help the dog find the perfect forever home. Our foster homes help us get to know who the dog is, their likes and dislikes, energy level and compatibility. This information is crucial to placing them in the best possible home. And the same can be said for our potential adopters. Our Pre-Adoption Application helps us get to know who you are, your lifestyle and family, and helps us find a dog that will fit in your home. I feel like we are doggy matchmakers! I find myself singing the song from The King and I…Getting to Know You…when I go to meet a dog at the shelter, or arrange to do an owner surrender. Just like us, every dog has their own personality, and comes with their own history. Some we know a lot about, even getting vet and AKC paperwork, others we just know what we learn from the shelter. We do our best to get to know everyone so we can find you the perfect new friend. Are you looking for an adventure buddy, someone with a lot of energy and a love for car rides? Perhaps you want a cuddlebug, someone to help you around the house and happy with just an evening stroll through the neighborhood? Just let us know and we will help you find your new friend!

Can you help?
As a non-profit organization, all donations and grants go directly toward helping dogs. We carefully guard every resource we have to maximize the number of animals we can save. Even though our adoption fees do not cover all the costs associated with our rescues, we never want to turn away a dog based on their medical needs, or be forced to end treatment due to cost alone. Instead, we fight tooth and nail to support our Rotties in every way that we can. We can only do this with your help!
